These are made up of lots of layers of cotton or bamboo (rather than one thick wad) meaning moisture is trapped, so you won't get the 'squeezed sponge' effect when the garment is compressed.
With upwards of a 2 litre capacity these are really popular for nighttime use.
No stuffing of inserts required, simply fit like a disposable, pop on a waterproof cover and chuck in the wash the next change.
(Wraps can be wiped and aired 2-3 times between washes).
